The Consulate of Mauritius is the first representation of Mauritius in Uganda established in 2018 following the appointment of Dr. Amos Nzeyi as the Honorary Consul.
At the consulate you will be advised about Tourism, Business and Investments in Mauritius etc. The small country has been recognized for its fast growing economy, ease of doing business and friendly tax system.
It's citizens are from all walks of life and some people often refer to the pristine Island as a "mini world". All the people have warm welcoming hearts which they have transferred into their work ethic and government policies.
Visa Information
Ugandans traveling to Mauritius for Tourism or Business do not require visas prior. There are 16 countries whose nationalities require visas prior to undertaking any travel to Mauritius and these are;

Photocopy
of passport’s bio data page
A
copy of residence permit(if not staying in country of origin)
In
case of business visa, applicant should submit a letter from local sponsor /company.
